21/32 – Minnesota Chippers Uniforms
Behind the Stitches
The Minnesota Chippers are etched as having one of the more distinct uniform sets in the league.
The Chippers have a gold-shelled helmet with a forest green facemask. The helmet striping – a green-white-green pattern – mirrors the teeth of the beaver in the primary logo which is displayed on both sides of the helmet. The front and back bumpers both feature "Chippers" wordmarks, but the front bumper opts for the one-color variation.
The jersey tops, with both green and white base color options, are relatively simple in construction save for one unique detail: patterned sleeves. The base color of the sleeve is green with a darker green lumberjack plaid (also known as buffalo plaid) where the hatched checks look wood-carved. The sleeve caps remain unchanged across both green and white sets, and a one-color "Chippers" wordmark is placed below the collar.
For the pants, the Chippers mimic the same helmet striping on a gold base color. Minnesota also has options for green and white sets, where the striping mechanic on the green sets runs gold-white-gold and on the white set the role of the green and white are swapped.
The jersey number set is a classic athletic block that is shared by a few other UFL teams. The choice for a standard number font as opposed to a custom bells-and-whistles re-emphasizes the hardworking culture behind the Chippers.
These mockups were made with a modified and retextured Madden 20 on PC. The in-game screenshots were then used to create a composition in Photoshop.
