Dubee Voice Shopping Assistant | TKinter Desktop App UI

Dubee is a proof-of-concept in-app shopping assistant using voice interaction as a project for my senior year in college. The objective is to provide low-vision shoppers with an accessible platform to purchase grocery from the comfort of their home with simple and straight forward commands.

Visually, the app follows a minimalist aesthetic with a calm, soothing color palette to best fit the vibe of our mascot - Dubee - a friendly shopping assistant that shoppers can feel at ease with. The thumbnails for each product follows the pixel art style and were generated with ChatGPT-4 Dall-E. Functionally, the app is designed to be screen-reader friendly, low in cognitive load, and with a consideration for developmental constraint in mind. The design is implemented by myself using Python Customtkinter library and the general-purpose libraries for speech-text conversation flow.
