Flick Picks

Project Overview:

The movie-going experience should be fun, but booking a movie ticket and choosing a movie can be difficult. Drawing on my own experiences and insights from user research, I designed Flick Picks app to address this issue.

The app includes advanced search filters and a comprehensive rating system that allows users to rate movies based on multiple criteria, providing a more informed choice for moviegoers.

Additionally, Flick Picks offers the ability to pre-order snacks in advance. This added convenience means that users can focus on enjoying their movie experience, rather than worrying about these practical details.

Project Context:

Flick Picks is designed for moviegoers between the ages of 18 to 65 who want to book movie tickets quickly and conveniently on their smartphones. The app allows users to book movie tickets on their own schedule, without the need to visit a physical ticketing counter or browse multiple websites.

Goals:

Our movie ticket booking app will let users select a movie easily which will affect moviegoers by providing different filters for choosing a film and a significant rating system. We will measure effectiveness by considering the time users spend completing their journey and booking tickets.
