Franklin County Medical Center - Branding Refresh

I was approached to create a brand refresh of Franklin County Medical Center (Preston, ID) and their service lines. The goal was to maintain brand rewcognizability, so I aimed to keep the shield shape but to simplify the curves and approachability of the mark. They also wanted to stick with the Montserrat typeface. Ultimately the project did not pan out, but you can check out several concepts with which I was happy.
