K-State X The Roasterie // 1863 Blend

1863 Blend is a colaboration between K-State Athletics and The Roasterie, a Coffee Company based out of Kansas City. 1863 Blend Coffee was created as a blend of coffee for all wildcats from students to alumni for before class or early morning games. It highlights unique aspects of Manhattan Kansas and Kansas State University. The label design uses wood block styled typography and sans-serrif font, combined with illustrative depictions of iconic features of the university and athletics that lead your eye down to the the label info. The illustrations are very crisp and simple, but I added subtle line-work and various backgrounds to give a cohesive grid that draws your eye through the design.
