Email Templates for ConvertKit.com
I was hired to create a collection of email templates for ConvertKit’s email builder. These templates serve as a starting point for users to build and design their own marketing emails.
When designing emails, there are constraints due to the limited markup and CSS available. Most custom or unique designs are achieved through graphic design in images and a more old-school "splicing" approach.
Considering the already restrictive nature of email design, creating templates also has limitations. The templates need to be unique and captivating, yet standard and customizable to appeal to a broad range of users. Ultimately, the emails serve as a base for users to develop their own designs and incorporate their brand and aesthetic.
These designs, at a glance, may appear simple and plain. However, they are intentionally designed to be clean and straightforward, with various layout options and variations to provide some elements of design.
