Snacks Ordering Mobile App
This client project was for a prominent snack and beverage company. They wanted to completely revamp the UI of their existing website and create a new mobile app to make it easier for their users to order their favourite foods and snacks quickly.
The process began with an understanding of the user behaviours of the current website through user interviews, heatmap analysis and insights from the founders and stakeholders. We wanted to understand why there were dropoffs at the checkout stage and why the cart values remained low most of the times.
With those insights, I worked with the team to come up with subtle nudges to prompt users to buy/add more to cart, introduced the recipes module, introduced upselling and cross-selling across the app and finally, refreshed the UI to make it modern and enticing for users.
The brand was acquiring many other snack and Indian food brands, which also meant changing its identity to give it a pan-Indian feel. When this changed, I worked with the teams on the client's and the studio's side to ensure we made the screens following the new guidelines set by the client. Constant iteration ensured we delivered a consistently designed app for the client's final review.
