Devils Draught (Test Mock-Up)

The Devils Draught mock-ups, made just for fun and all the time I was putting together the lettering I kept thinking about Hammer Horror and films such as The Scars of Dracula and The Devil Rides back. The top of the D's have the pointy bits like devils horns and the curls are the devil tails, I wanted to move away from red and doing research in different draught bitter designs, looking at logos curating a moodboard of different ideas and looking at draught beers colours and textures, the yellow stood out, I then thought of Boddingtons (Brewery in Manchester) and Kill Bill (Film Quentin Tarantino) and I experimented with a yellow/brown/black pallette. I made up the biz tag line with as nod to Star Wars (very much a retro film weekend).
