Pain Points

• Artists can't upload artworks and manage their own artwork metadata.

• Video files and metadata are managed separately

• Linear video encoding process, a certain profile often gets stuck and the entire pipeline has to be restarted, furthermore, the problem can be identified and solved only through command line.

I created a media management tool, code name Sedition Studio, allowing artists and admins upload their full-size video artworks for processing and add metadata all in one place. Admins can also organise artworks, collections and even artists all in one place.

If a certain video profile gets stuck, it can be identified and reprocessed without interrupting other artworks or their profiles, saving time and zencoder credits.
