Lost Fox Inn Master Logo

🏨 Brand design for a boutique inn and tavern in Litchfield, CT.

The client envisioned a classic, almost historical design with a touch of whimsy.

🦊 I created an emblem logo that reinforces the brand name based around a fox holding a key in its mouth.

To play up the brand’s heritage feel, the graphic is placed inside an antique, decorative frame.

🪶 The main typeface is a customized font inspired by geometric shapes, Romanesque typography and 19th-century ephemera.

For the colors, we decided to keep things simple and sophisticated with a palette of dark blue and off-white.

🚀 Once the master logo was finalized, I developed a set of logo variations for use in different contexts, as well as 3 branded graphics, a brand pattern, and business stationery.
