La Taranta's Perpetu-Arte
La Taranta is a dance studio from Geneva, Switzerland. Founded to showcase one of the most eye-catching traditional dance, Flamenco. Deep-rooted from the traditions and culture of Southern Spain, its expressive yet smooth movements are to watch for.
The yearly event was set to shine but this time with a twist from another art.
La Taranta collaborated with CLOX Graphics to create a poster and tickets both in various formats but with a twist. The idea was to incorporate the contemporary art of Jean-Michel Basquiat, highlighting strokes of somewhat rather, random strokes with meanings behind them.
The show and poster was prepared especially for an outstanding performer and first Grammys Award winner for dance, Nino Delos Reyes. A special poster for a special performance, I must say.
