From Low-Fidelity to High-Fidelity

Low-Fidelity/Wireframing

I consider wireframes the skeleton of any project. With them, basic design decisions for interactions and user flows are decided and agreed upon. This will allow the design team to move unto the next stages of the design process with less worry and more certainty.

Design System

A design system is the guide and communication tool for the design team. Deciding just a color palette, that consists of Primary/Secondary Colors and status colors, is not enough. There are various elements that can be guided through a design system, thus ensuring continuity in the project and minimizing back and forth between members of a design team.

High-Fidelity

This is the result of inserting the design system in the wireframe. With Figma, everything that is included in the design system can be imported as components and styles, making it an easier and faster process.
