Rebranding - Plastic packaging

Project brief: Brand with expertise in production of plastic bottles, vials, containers and closures for food, personal care, pharmaceutical and household chemicals industries looking for rebranding.

Challenges:

The long run family business recently changed hands with reins passed to next generation, thus seeking rebranding.

The younger generation wanted to start afresh with modern look thus seeking revolutionary Rebranding, while the elder generation were looking for conservative evolutionary Rebranding considering the brand equity and recognition among clients.

The brand also wanted to lean towards eco-friendly packaging solutions, following the present trend and the market demands. This had to be reflected in the logo as the first touchpoint of the Brand.

Solution:

Provided 2 design solutions catering to the needs different generations.

Suggested that move with evolutionary design concept and slowly introduce the revolutionary logomark, when the logotype is more familiar and accepted among existing clients.
