Manage all your finances in one app

Livest allows you to use one app for keeping your spending habits in check, while also allowing you to invest. The user can set a certain budget the week and if they manage to spend less than that budget, the difference will be invested into a customized ETF portfolio. The user has full control over that portfolio but can also let the app make the decisions which ETF to include, according to the users investment strategy.

The design choices

Keeping the app simple to use for someone unfamiliar with investing, but also just as useful for someone experienced was very important to me. A core concept of this app is to give the user a feeling of comfort, safety and that investing is nothing scary, hence why i decided to choose a warm, slighty red-ish background color and softer shapes. I decided to go for cartoonish illustrations in order to strengthen the sense of trust and comfort, which i think would've been weakened by using realistic imagery.
