WIP Fallout 4 UI Concept - HUD

If you're interested in doing a Fallout 4 UI concept of your own, please, PLEASE, use this as inspiration - not as a starting point. I'm sure the Dribbble community is better than that, but I'm new here, so apologies if I step on toes.

Concept I've been working on since December 2015 for Fallout 4 that I'm hoping to carry into the game itself once the official modding tools for the game are released.

There's a lot to love about Fallout 4, but for me, the UI hasn't been one of them. I'm making an attempt to fix the issues I've had with the UI by gathering some user feedback (via survey I'll eventually put out), and generating mockups which'll eventually be used as reference when I start digging into the mod tools. This mockup was more of an effort to get on the screen what's been swimming around my head since I started playing back in November.

On this concept, I've experimented with having a compass that provides better depth perception of the locations and enemies around you, and introducing a more "true" idea of stealth in relation to enemies. Currently, you can't tell if an enemy is nearby until they're alerted to you. I'm suggesting an idea that, based on your Perception level, you can detect enemies who haven't detected you yet (yellow squares).

I've got a lot of cool ideas that go beyond this one, so with some freetime, a little luck, and a lot of Illustrator/Photoshop, I'm hoping I can eventually put this into the game as a competent UI Mod.
