Regional Homes - A corporate real estate website
About the project
About the client:
Regional Homes develops gated communities, homes, and duplexes in the South Carolina market.
Their target audience consists of Americans, Ukrainians, and Russians, and they sell hundreds of homes across the state every year.
Client's request and need:
Regional Houses approached me with a request to develop a website design.
Their previous website was not fit for purpose and was repelling customers because it looked unprofessional and more like a business card site.
Their request was to create a corporate website with easy navigation, a house search engine, 3D tours that would allow them to view houses online, and the ability to invest in real estate.
The process of work
Analysis: In the course of my work, I analyzed all existing competitors in the market, which made me understand the strengths and weaknesses of real estate websites.
Prototyping: After that, I developed a prototype and structure of the site, which had a sequence and navigation logic, and after that, the client and I approved this structure.
Design: After the prototype, I started to create a design in the corporate colors of the company, (white, beige and black) implemented the ability to view the company's portfolio, the best offers of houses, reviews, 3D tours, a convenient navigation system and the ability to view the company's houses on the map so that a potential client could buy a house that would be in the right area and have all the necessary locations nearby, such as: school, work, parks, hospitals and others.
Iteration of edits: After the design was created, we went through 2 iterations of edits, during which we were able to add an investment page (which appeared during the work) and improve the blog page to post large articles that would help improve the SEO promotion of the site.
The result and the client's feedback:
In the first month after the launch of the site, Regional Homes received about 10 applications through the site and made 3 sales totaling $950,000.
The client was happy because the site began to fulfill its proper function - to generate applications and sales.
