The process of an idea turning into shape and meaning. This illustration attempts to capture the in-between feeling of an idea taking form. It's about the moment when you can generalize the idea, but it's still missing the substance to become a tangible result.
This piece feels very personal, rather than a universal experience we can all connect with. It took me some time to create, and I always knew I wanted to make it. I don’t know how many times I picked it up and set it aside again. I wanted to capture this feeling of being in between—where I can talk and think about the idea, but when I try to sit down and realize it, it lacks substance and thought.
