Confidence In Community
Confidence in Community is a visual identity campaign created as part of a competition brief through the Royal School of Art to raise awareness for skin confidence. The campaign celebrates the uniqueness and beauty of natural skin, promotes self-acceptance, and encourages the normalisation of real, unfiltered beauty.
Risograph Prints: Highlight the beauty of natural skin through vibrant and textured prints.
Magnified Textures: Emphasise the unique patterns and textures of different skin types, showcasing their beauty up close.
Everyday Objects: Use familiar items to connect the message of skin confidence with the audience’s daily lives.
Interactive Workshops: Engage the community with hands-on activities designed to foster skin confidence and self-acceptance.
The Confidence in Community campaign stems from a deep exploration of the diverse textures and patterns found in natural skin. This research included studying various skin types and magnifying their unique textures to highlight their inherent beauty. By incorporating everyday objects, the campaign connects the concept of skin confidence to the audience’s daily experiences. Interactive workshops were developed to provide a hands-on approach to building self-acceptance and celebrating natural beauty. This comprehensive approach ensures that the campaign resonates deeply with the community, promoting a positive and inclusive message about skin confidence.
