Crisp CRM Design System

Our collaboration with Crisp aimed to harmonize the design systems across their suite of customer support tools. Each product had unique design needs, yet we strived for a cohesive visual language that unified the user experience across all platforms. This strategy resulted in a singular, coherent look and feel throughout Crisp’s products.

By articulating a clear design language, we gained more control over the entire system. Instead of making isolated tweaks, we were able to implement changes that had a profound impact across the board. A small design improvement that enhanced user experience could be applied universally, promoting consistency and efficiency. This approach also allowed us to spend more time engaging with stakeholders who understand their users' desires well, ensuring that every design element, such as dropdowns, was necessary and optimized for the best user experience.

The design system encompassed a variety of patterns, including user flows, domain-oriented design patterns, and persuasive UX patterns. By focusing on functional and perceptual patterns as core building blocks, we ensured the design elements were both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. The emphasis was on how these patterns evolved, were shared, connected, and used within the system. This shared design language allowed us to concentrate more on user needs, creating a more user-centric and efficient design process for Crisp.
