Green Regency-inspired Planner
I fell in love with the regency dresses in the third season of Bridgerton. So much so, that I was itching to design something inspired by them.
I knew whatever it was I was going to design, it had to be something heavily aligned with my brand CheeryPrintsies:
"Eye-catching Functional Printables: Where Aesthetic Meets Function"
Therefore, it has to be accessible, aesthetically pleasing, and applicable.
Given the high saturation of in-demand digital product niches online, I reached a long pause and found it hard to hit play.
I was paralyzed in search of a profitable design that I wasted precious time.
Enough is enough!
So I went ahead and designed a US Letter page inspired by one of Penelope's pastel green dresses in Bridgerton.
It was a flowy silk fabric with dark green embroideries of leaves on it.
To emulate the embroideries, I added dark green floral borders on each corner of the page. And to get a similar texture and flow of the silk, I placed a green gradient element on the top and bottom pages, as well as an enlarged topography pattern in the background with adjusted transparency.
Thanks to Canva's intuitive functions, I was happy with the completed result.
After thinking long and hard while wasting more time, I ended up designing a daily, weekly, and monthly planner on the page.
Designs are now available as digital and printable planners on CheeryPrintsies Etsy store.
The printed colors would be a lot brighter, and closer to the one seen digitally if printed on high quality paper with suitable ink.
Will it be profitable? Seems unlikely...
But it's a start from a long head-scratcher to keep the ball rolling.
Until the next design!
