Online Vintage Clothing Store
My role in the project
Research, Creating Wireframes, Prototyping, Visual Design, Interaction Design.
The goal of the project
Design a website for a vintage clothing store.
Target users
People interested in buying vintage, Environmentally conscious individuals.
Research findings
According to the UN Environment Program, the fashion industry is responsible for between 2% and 8% of carbon emissions worldwide. Additionally, textile dying is a leading source of water pollution. If not resold or recycled, used clothing ends up being burned or buried in landfills, contributing more to fashion’s environmental impacts.
An increasing number of people prefer to buy second-hand clothing as a way to reduce their carbon footprint and make a positive impact on the environment.
The quality materials used to make vintage clothes mean that these garments last for years, providing a cost-effective and stylish wardrobe.
The vintage buying trend is largely driven by younger generations who are more environmentally conscious and use fashion as a way to express their individuality.

What did you learn during the design process?
Balancing aesthetics with functionality.
Sometimes you want to let your imagination run wild and build a maximalist product, but it’s important to keep things simple and not confuse the users.
