3D Modelling | 3D Rendering | Lighting
This 3D visualization project showcases detailed models of various cans and bottles of beer, Pepsi, and Coca-Cola. Using Blender, I meticulously crafted each element from scratch, ensuring high-quality renders that highlight the textures and materials characteristic of these popular beverages. The project involved a comprehensive pipeline encompassing modeling, lighting, rendering, and compositing.
Concept and Reference Gathering:
Collected high-resolution images and physical samples of beer, Pepsi, and Coca-Cola cans and bottles. Analyzed the shapes, textures, labels, and distinctive features to accurately replicate them in 3D.
Modeling:
Utilized Blender’s modeling tools to create detailed 3D models of the cans and bottles. Focused on precise dimensions and proportions to ensure realism. Applied subdivision surfaces to enhance the smoothness and detail of the models.
Texturing and Shading:
Developed custom textures for labels and materials using Photoshop and Blender.
Created realistic shaders to mimic metal, glass, and liquid surfaces. Ensured that the textures accurately represented the brands’ distinctive visual elements.
Lighting:
Set up a three-point lighting system to highlight the models’ features and create appealing reflections and highlights. Experimented with various light setups, including HDRI environments, to achieve the desired mood and atmosphere.
Rendering:
Rendered high-resolution images using Blender’s Cycles render engine.
Fine-tuned render settings to balance quality and performance, ensuring crisp, detailed output. Utilized denoising techniques to maintain clarity while reducing noise.
Compositing:
Employed Blender’s compositing tools to enhance the final renders. Adjusted color balance, contrast, and saturation to make the images pop. Added depth of field and other post-processing effects to enhance realism.
Final Touches:
Conducted multiple iterations and refinements based on feedback and self-evaluation. Ensured that each render met the high standards of photorealism and brand accuracy.
