Problem solving
In migration or long-term travel, people who do not know the local language want to receive or provide a service. Lack of knowledge of the language at a sufficient level, lack of reviews, marks on the map or friends who can recommend the masters lead to diaspora chats in the hope of getting a recommendation. Unfortunately, this does not always bring success.
Tools used
10 interviews conducted: 5 with users looking for services 5 with small belarusian business owners from Poland, Argentina and Germany. The interviews took place in a Zoom meeting format; questions were prepared in advance and changed during the conversation. Responses were clustered, selected and evaluated, were compiled empathy maps, maps How might we, was applied method Jobs to be done, and brainwriting was carried out. Selected ideas were converted into User story map and User flow.
Application task
Create the ability to search or provide a service that will be displayed on the map, suggest the nearest location depending on the filters used, using geolocation. Promote discounted intervals that are not popular (for example, morning hours or canceled appointments)
Application problem solving
the application solves such a problem as finding recommendations. The application has filters that will select the most suitable services for the user’s requirements. Filters include sorting by language and accessibility for people with disabilities. Using geolocation, the application shows the distance to the object. Notification settings allow the user to receive notifications about discounts in nearby establishments, and the business to benefit in the event of a sudden cancellation of a reservation
