18/32 – Motor City Mustangs Uniforms
Behind the Stitches
Firing on all cylinders, the Motor City Mustangs don a sports-car inspired uniform set.
Starting from the top – the helmet is metallic blue helmet with two silver racing stripes trimmed in white that run right down the middle. The typical primary logo placement is abandoned in favor of helmet numbers – a nod to classic motorsports and the only of its kind in the UFL. The front bumper houses the chrome mustang whereas the back bumper has the accompanying "Mustangs" wordmark.
When it comes to the jerseys Motor City has two sets: a blue top and a white top. The sleeves imitate the same striping mechanic as the helmet but on the white set, the stripes are blue trimmed in silver. Each collar, regardless of base jersey color, follows a blue-silver-white pattern from the neck-out. One of the most dominating features of the jersey is a large "Motor City" wordmark displayed across the chest – taking center stage in the absense of a helmet logo. With the TV numbers moving to the helmet, the jersey only incorporates chest and back numbers.
When it comes to the pants, the Mustangs primarily use a metallic silver base but have options for blue and white as well. The striping mechanic is limited to a single racing stripe with the primary logo at the hip.
The Mustangs' jersey number set is a condensed sans at a 7.5 degree italic angle that was inspired by the Ford Mustang speedometer..
These mockups were made with a modified and retextured Madden 20 on PC. The in-game screenshots were then used to create a composition in Photoshop.
