Rainforests are vital for our planet's survival, housing half of the world’s animal species, providing freshwater, and stabilizing the climate. Yet, every second, 1.5 hectares are lost, and 78 million hectares are destroyed annually. World Rainforest Day aims to combat deforestation, mitigate climate change, and protect rainforests for future generations.
