Mental Composition
Concept Development:
Initially, I focused heavily on the psychological significance, but later shifted to emphasizing the materials used in the installation. I set a constraint for myself not to use wood, aiming for materials that are relatively cheap, easy to transport, and have interesting shapes. So, I began observing materials or objects around me and coincidentally discovered some unused, discarded pulp four-cup carriers, which inspired my subsequent creation.
Concept:
I did not set a final form for the presentation, partly due to the uncertainty of the material shapes and partly out of a simple desire to explore the unknown without a planned form. Since the pulp four-cup carriers inherently have unique shapes, I decided not to cut or destroy their structure. Instead, I played with stacking them to see what shapes I could create. Eventually, I decided to present a small city.
