Logotype
The project was completed as part of Typographic Futures, a Masters level module in the National College of Art & Design. We were aimed at branding a location of our choice whilst keeping a sharp focus on the typographic elements of the brand.
As a cycling-enthusiast and someone who loves to see cycling as an integral part of local communities, I chose to brand the Sandycove to Seapoint cycleway. I aimed to create a family-friendly, seaside brand that felt fresh and modern. A key goal of mine was to create a design that would be inclusive. I wanted to encourage people of all ages and abilities to use their local cycleway not only as a way to get from A to B, but rather to enjoy a slower-paced journey and take in the seaside view.
