Motorcycle Grand Prix | Racing Promo Project

Objective: The objective of this project was to create infield banners promoting a racing event for one of the following: Motorcycle racing, Dirt Bike racing (motocross), or Nascar. I decided to go with promoting motorcycle racing.

A unique background design was also required that needed to be dynamic, abstract imagery.

Process: I was provided images of vehicles and drivers from motorcycle racing, dirt bike racing, and nascar. The images of the vehicles and drivers contained brand logos which needed to be removed, and new logos were to be reapplied, which were also provided.

I decided on a motorcycle racing image to work on and the final result is pictured above. I also created a background that the racer would be placed over, and this was created by fusing images, and modifying them by adding motion blur, warping, and colorizing.
