About the project 🤗
Challenge:
Isaac Horowitz, the founder of Blockbeat, envisioned creating the ultimate crypto news aggregator and terminal. His aim was to provide traders with the necessary insights and tools to confidently navigate the dynamic crypto market.
With this vision in mind, he approached Lazarev, sharing screen designs and seeking assistance in enhancing the user experience. The focus was on improving his developments with a keen emphasis on user-centricity.
Approach:
In our design approach, we maintained a focus on structuring the substantial volume of financial data and news content to ensure ease of comprehension, even for enthusiasts. To achieve this, our UX designers introduced a well-crafted block layout and incorporated visualizations along with visual accents.
Dashboard design 👀
The user's first interaction is a dashboard featuring the continuously refreshed news feed on the left-hand side.In the center, news articles open upon hovering, allowing traders to read the entire piece. On the right-hand side, users can access market statistics and personalized watchlists of assets.
News feed & watchlist personalization 🏆
Each news article features tags and icons that signify the analysis of crypto assets and market trends conducted by Blockbeat's AI algorithms.
To manage the substantial data flow within users’ feeds, we implemented advanced filtering and a pause option. These filters offer complete personalization, allowing users to view only what is necessary. Similarly, with watchlists, traders can configure them based on their preferences.
Market stats customization 😶🌫️
The market stats widget is also customizable to enhance the user experience.
Its design allows traders to swiftly understand market sentiment, make informed decisions, and evaluate the overall health and performance of the cryptocurrency market.
Right there, we provided traders with the ability to compare various assets and observe how their value changed under the influence of news within different time periods. This feature facilitates making more informed decisions on investments.
