The goal

Our client's established CRM platform was looking to build a Calendar feature so their users could have an all-in-one suite and slowly migrate from third-party Calendars like Outlook.

The challenge

As mentioned, nearly all of our client's clients had been using Outlook for some time. So our goal was to not reinvent the wheel and integrate Outlook's look and feel into the CRM as best as possible. We wanted to blend in some unique features like Tasks and a Tasks of the Day panel (which lived together with Events imported from the Calendar), and it was also important to adapt Outlook's 6 category colours to match but to also work well with our client's navy brand blue.

The outcome

The outcome was an elegant fusion of Outlook's colours and functionalities nicely integrated into this CRM, giving their users a chance to import and manage their events and tasks all in one spot, turning our client's product into a powerhouse suite one feature at a time.
