JELLY-SLICE

I just began making some monoprints on paper using vegetable oil and alcohol inks. This one came out quite lovely and unique. Dimensions: 9" x 12" Paper: Arches Aquarelle - Hot Pressed - 140 lbs.

This organic shape has the essence of a jellyfish and an agate slice.

The technique lends itself well to producing floating, flowing lines, organic shapes and nice gradient transitions.
