The Express Way with Dulé Hill
We had the opportunity to work with Danny Lee at CALICO on The Express Way’s main title and graphics package.
For the main title sequence, we integrated real paint brush strokes filmed on plexiglass into a 2D animated design with vibrant colors and energetic movements, combining traditional artistic techniques with modern animation. The organic, textural brush strokes added a handcrafted quality, complementing the dynamic compositions of the animated elements.
Extending the approach established in the main title, we developed a comprehensive graphics package for the show. This package included various animated elements, such as lower thirds, transitions, and other on-screen graphics.
