I'm oddly passionate about designing small yet detailed components. They typically appear in mature products but always make an outsized impact.

And it's true - when it comes to experienced users, freedom of action is key to ensuring a scalable experience. However, this introduces the risk of 'feature creep'—a situation where continuous addition of features undermines the product's value.

The old saying, "Better is the enemy of good," fits well here. Paradoxically, mindful incremental development is often easier in the 0→1 phase when there's no luxury to be extravagant.

However, when scaling an established product, teams often forget that each new feature becomes part of a larger ecosystem. It's essential to start such an upgrade by understanding the context and, if necessary, revisiting a few more screens.
