Diary Bunda, Community Based Pregnancy App
Background
Diary Bunda is an apps created to support Indonesian women through their pregnancy / motherhood journey.
The goal of Diary Bunda is to provide first time mothers with all the tools (From tracking their baby’s development to making a doctor’s appointment) and medically valid information that they need to have a safe and worry free pregnancy.
To achieve that goal, Diary Bunda must gain a better understanding of the entire end to end pregnancy journey (beginning with pre pregnancy and expanding to post pregnancy), identify the gaps and pain points that mothers are currently experiencing, and hopefully fill those gaps in our service offering.
Objective
To understand the entire end to end motherhood journey and identify possible new touch points for Diary Bunda
To understand users’ behavior and expectations when it comes to pregnancy and childcare apps
To gain user feedback on the Diary Bunda application as a whole
Results
As first time mothers to be, they realize that they lack experience and knowledge, and they feel like a blind man when dealing with pregnancy related issues, resulting in mixed feelings of excitement and worry.
They understand that they must actively seek information and gradually fill the knowledge gap of pregnancy, which will allow them to be worry free, comfortable, and relaxed throughout the pregnancy.
They have to find the best alternative option from multitude sources of info, to complete the doctor’s existence . The doctor's limited time is incompatible with the variety of information they wish to investigate
