Они создают неповторимые шоу, костюмы и декорации, посмотрите видео с их выступления и убедитесь в этом сами. А ещё лучше, если появится возможность, сходите на их представления, гастролируют они по всему миру.
Перед мной стояла задача сделать яркую презентацию, посвящённую этому цирку и тому, чему дизайнеры и дизайн-студии могут поучиться у них. Казалось бы всё располагало к тому, чтобы сделать яркую презентацию: оригинальный стиль цирка, сказочные образы, красочные фотографии.
Загвоздка была в том, чтобы свести всё это в единое целое.

Hello) Did you know about a circus that doesn't have trained animals? Cirque du Soleil! A circus that focuses on human abilities and talents. They create unique shows, costumes and decorations, watch the video from their performance and see for yourself. And even better, if you get the opportunity, go to their performances, they tour all over the world.
My task was to make a vivid presentation dedicated to this circus and what designers and design studios can learn from them. It would seem that everything was conducive to making a vivid presentation: the original circus style, fabulous images, colorful photographs. The catch was to bring it all together.
Отправной точкой стал первый экран. Дизайн должен быть понятным, поэтому при первом взгляде на презентацию человек должен сразу догадаться о чём пойдёт речь, даже не прочитав заголовок. Что это может быть? Мне лично в решении этой задачи помогает метод ассоциаций, и тут всё было просто: красный цвет и шатёр — это легкоузнаваемые образы, которые сразу же ассоциируются с цирком.
Они стали скелетом, вокруг которых я формировала стиль. Следующей важной задачей было вплести в презентацию то, без чего она просто не могла обойтись - яркие сценические образы циркачей. Загвоздка состояла в том, что их пестрые и невероятно броские фотографии чрезмерно перетягивали на себя внимание, отвлекая читателя от всего остального. Поэтому я решила сделать их чёрно-белыми, это простое элегантное решение позволило насытить презентацию множеством выразительных образов и не дать им перетянуть на себя всё внимание.
Ну и, наконец, оставалось определиться с стилем.
Очевидно было одно, те времена, в которые слова классика «важнейшим из искусств для нас является кино и цирк» были непреложной истиной, давно прошли, поэтому образы цирка в массовом сознании сегодня связаны с ушедшим прошлым, и, главным образом, с концом девятнадцатого и началом двадцатых веков.
Одним из художественных направлений, которые ассоциируются с тем временем, с тем духом, является конструктивизм. Поэтому я обратилась к нему и взяла его на вооружение. Он узнаваем, характеризуется простыми геометрическими формами, которые легко воспринимаются зрителем и, что немаловажно, конструктивизм всегда отражал прогресс, подчёркивает инновационность, что является отражением цирка Cirque du Soleil.

The starting point was the first screen. The design should be clear, so at the first glance at the presentation, a person should immediately guess what is going to be discussed, even without reading the title. What could it be? The association method helps me personally in solving this problem, and everything was simple here: the red color and the tent are easily recognizable images that are immediately associated with the circus.
They became the skeleton around which I shaped the style. The next important task was to weave into the presentation what she simply could not do without - vivid stage images of circus performers. The catch was that their colorful and incredibly catchy photos overly attracted attention, distracting the reader from everything else. Therefore, I decided to make them black and white, this simple elegant solution allowed me to saturate the presentation with a lot of expressive images and not let them attract all the attention.
And finally, it remained to decide on the style. One thing was obvious, those times when the words of the classic "cinema and circus are the most important of the arts for us" were an immutable truth have long passed, therefore, the images of the circus in the mass consciousness today are associated with the bygone past, and mainly with the end of the nineteenth and the beginning of the twentieth centuries. One of the artistic trends that are associated with that time, with that spirit, is constructivism. So I turned to him and adopted him. It is recognizable, characterized by simple geometric shapes that are easily perceived by the viewer and, importantly, constructivism has always reflected progress, emphasizes innovation, which is a reflection of the Cirque du Soleil circus.
