Design Mimicry: DICT R5-Camarines Sur

At-a-Glance

This project showcases my work and involvement in the DICT Region V-Camarines Sur webinar entitled, Figma 101: An Introductory Workshop on UX Design. During this workshop, we were introduced to Figma, which enabled us to create our projects. This project focused on replicating the Facebook Page interface of DICT Region V-Camarines Sur, progressing from low-fidelity to medium and high-fidelity designs with interactions and variables.

Lo-fi

The workshop began with low-fidelity wireframes, primarily composed of simple shapes such as lines for text, squares for icons, and circles with 'X' marks representing images.

Mi-fi

Next, I refined the skeletal layout into a more polished version by adding icons, incorporating Lorem Ipsum text, and integrating the iOS toolkit into the design.

Final Design

Finally, the section below showcases the final version of the product, which not only replicates the color palette but also incorporates the typography and sizes of each element.

What I Learned 🌱

In the webinar, I learned essential UX design skills using Figma. This included creating low, medium, and high-fidelity designs with interactions and variables. I also gained insight into design principles like color theory and typography, applying them to replicate the Facebook Page interface of DICT Region V-Camarines Sur.
