GOLDEN Playing Card

In going through some dusty old boxes I came across a set of playing cards given to me by my Grandmother some odd 25 years ago. I no longer wanted to hang onto to the cards but I liked the backside pattern and wanted to hang on to the memory in some way. So, I fired up Sketch this morning and started what I hope to be some simple exercises throughout the year to keep me on my toes.

I'd say it's a faithful recreation of the card (the other side has some 60's looking animals wearing overalls). I used Circular with some modifications to the 'G'.

And while on the topic of cards, I recently read this Medium article about the Secret Hitler card game - it has some really terrific artwork.
