Required Star

The focus of this shot is the required star.

The star is the Theinhardt "*", given the x height of the input label, then vertically centered with the input label - from ascender to baseline. It's space one space away from the label (about 6 px).

I think that hovering on the star would give a small tooltip that simply says "Required" with no color change to the star or cursor change.
