This is one of the lessons on my language learning app, Subtlex.

I've brought my long-time idea to life – learning a language by studying the most frequent words from various content sources like movies, videos, articles, books, or even games. For example, I used the game The Last of Us for this design.

My goal was to create an intuitive UX where users can easily mark words they already know and add unfamiliar ones for practice through exercises. So, the final result is shown above.
