Sustainability Claims and Icons

A collection of icons that were created for a wine brand, St. Hubert's The Stag. The Stag partnered up with Airseed, a program which helps to restore and rewild environments by dropping diverse seeds via a drone. Such a cool endeavour.

Beyond that, The Stag was taking steps towards making their packaging more sustainable and with limited suppliers and printers in Australia, can mean taking little steps over time. However, they managed to source a label that was made from recycled materials and passed the ice bucket test (iykyk), inks made with plants and a lighter glass bottle.

Some of these icons appeared on the back label and others were proposed for social media. I love working with this stripped back, almost technical feeling style. It reminds me of the mini icons on industrial electronic labeling. Perhaps something I discovered as a kid when playing with all of the computer parts my dad collected.
