Designer's Process
Research and Inspiration: As a designer, the first step was diving deep into the world of Michelangelo. I studied his artworks, read about his life, and explored various historical resources to capture the essence of his genius. This research was essential to create a design that reflects his artistic legacy.
Defining the Structure: I started by outlining the blog's structure. The goal was to create an intuitive and organized layout that allows users to easily navigate through the content. The main sections included:
Home Page: An introduction to Michelangelo's life and his major works.
Biography: Detailed articles about his life, achievements, and influence.
Gallery: High-quality images of his masterpieces.
Articles: In-depth analysis and essays on specific aspects of his work.
Contact: Information on how to get in touch for more details or collaborations.
Typography: Choosing the right typography was crucial. I opted for the Poppins typeface, a modern sans-serif font known for its readability and versatility. Poppins features clean, geometric shapes that provide a contemporary look while maintaining excellent legibility.
Grid System: The grid system was meticulously planned to ensure consistency and balance. I used a 12-column grid to allow flexible yet structured layouts.
This shot represents not just a blog design but a thoughtful homage to one of history's greatest artists, combining form and function to celebrate Michelangelo's timeless influence.
