SWARM: Answering the Call

My major inspiration for this was cartoon bumper ads, especially the MTV logos between music videos in the '90s and early 2000s. This idea then morphed into recreating the look of an old CRT TV, including the fuzziness, scanlines, and a rounded screen.

To advertise the launch of the zine, SWARM wanted to highlight our interviews, which included photographer Mark Beemer.

With a single excerpt from the interview, I animated the quote in the same style of the initial teaser.
