WanderAI : generate customizable itineraries with AI
Problem statement: Many travellers face significant challenges in creating personalised and optimised travel itineraries for their trips, leading to time wastage, and suboptimal travel experiences. These difficulties arise from the overwhelming abundance of travel options, varying preferences, limited local knowledge, and time constraints.
WanderAI — the proposed solution: In light of these challenges, there is a pressing need for a user-friendly mobile application that harnesses the power of AI to generate personalized travel itineraries. This app should analyze user preferences, consider various factors such as travel dates, budget constraints, and provide seamless suggestions for accommodations, activities, dining options, transportation, and sightseeing attractions. By addressing these pain points, the app aims to empower travelers to effortlessly plan their trips, making their travel experiences more enjoyable, memorable, and stress-free.
User Research: I surveyed by floating a google form with a certain set of questions to conduct user research and below is the result of the conducted research.
Design Mockups: Every element of the app’s design was crafted with the user in mind. Through user research, I delved into the pain points and preferences of travelers, ensuring that the interface is not only aesthetically pleasing but also intuitively navigable. The use of green accents throughout the design serves as a visual guide, guiding users seamlessly through the itinerary creation process.
Behind the pallete — Green not only represents the lush landscapes waiting to be explored but also symbolizes the harmonious blending of diverse travel elements. From accommodations to activities, transportation to dining, the app’s design aims to create a cohesive and visually pleasing interface that resonates with users’ desires for a well-balanced journey.
