Saadi Poem

As long as the thought of your stature and grace fills my mind, Even if all people become tall and beautiful like cypresses, I remain free like a cypress.

Blessed is the day my soul departs in pursuit of you, So dear ones may come to congratulate me.

All the sorrows of the world have no effect on me, So joyous am I at the sight of your beloved face.
