To convey project’s character with a design you’ll better to set aside laziness and take the time to find the right font.



I have 3 methods:


👀 Visual. Just explore photos from the project and try to find an inspiration there: I notice expressive features in the images and then convey them with similar expressive features in the font


⚙️ Mechanical. I visit a font library and search the font with the given parameters

🔮 Genius. When you have your own font library in your brain, and you can immediately determine what you will use in a particular project. This method works only 1 out of 100 times for me 😅 But I am keep practicing.
