Big Leaf Maple Dining Table

This custom dining table showcases beautiful grain and a natural color.  Crafted from wood sourced from a single Big Leaf Maple tree from Independence, Oregon, the table features a 2-inch thick book-matched maple slab top. To prevent warping and cupping, I added walnut breadboard edges, which are securely pinned. The base of the table is constructed using traditional arts and crafts through tenon joinery, with walnut wedges that match the pegs in the top breadboard.
