Healthcare Data Management SaaS Portal for Corporate Employees
Hey creative people!
By leveraging design heuristics and the core principles of IBM's Lean Design Thinking approach and addressing user needs, I've created a concept SaaS portal to streamline healthcare data management for corporate employees that empowers the organisation administrators to manage employee healthcare reports efficiently, ultimately contributing to a healthier and more empowered workforce.
Understanding User Needs :-
Managing employee healthcare records can be time-consuming and prone to errors. This portal addresses the need for a centralized and efficient platform for uploading, managing, and exporting employee healthcare reports.
Design Thinking in Action :-
1. User Research & Empathy
Conducted interviews and workshops with HR administrators and employees to understand their pain points regarding healthcare data management.
Key findings revealed a desire for a user-friendly system that simplifies report uploads, record organization, and data export for informed decision-making.
2. Prioritizing User Experience For The Dashboard
Effortless Patient Search: Intuitively search for employees using various identifiers, including employee ID, email address, mobile number, and ABHA ID (India's National Health ID) in the first column of a comprehensive table.
Inline Upload & Metadata: Directly upload medical reports via drag-and-drop functionality while simultaneously assigning a report name and description for easy categorization and future reference.
Robust Upload Management: Upload up to 20 reports per employee, each up to 10 MB in size, with supported formats like PDF, DOC, and XLSX.
Enhanced Data Integrity: Reduced risk of errors and lost documents through centralized storage and user-defined metadata.
Detailed Upload Status: Efficiently view detailed upload progress for each report, including percentage complete, date and time, and the option to cancel if needed.
Sticky CTA Bar: A persistent bottom section houses a fixed call to action (CTA) on the left-hand side (LHS) labeled 'Add Entry', allowing admins to seamlessly add new rows for additional uploads.
Dynamic Action Buttons: On the right-hand side (RHS) of the sticky section, context-aware CTAs appear: 'Reset', 'Save as Draft' and 'Save' depending on the user's interaction with the rows in the data table.
3. Efficient Data Organization
Bulk Actions: Multi-select checkboxes on the left side of the user details column enable bulk actions like exporting or deleting specific report entries within the table.
Categorization & Filtering: Tag uploaded reports for easier organization and retrieval based on report types or medical conditions.
4. User Control & Flexibility
Export Functionality: Export employee healthcare records within a user-defined time range for further analysis or sharing with healthcare providers.
5. Holistic Employee Management
Sticky Navigation Panel: Navigate seamlessly between report management, corporate appointment booking and other functionalities related to corporate healthcare data management & monitoring through a persistent navigation panel on the LHS, creating a one-stop shop for employee healthcare needs.
