Sales & MarTech Team Goal Setting Flow

The design:

Step 3 of a Revenue goal being set for a Sales team and its members, where the team has been previously selected and now different targets are being allocated both team-wide and individually. Because the year's halfway through, Jan to May are disabled text - the rest of month's are to be filled out, in some cases taking advantage of quick bulk actions to do so.

The goal:

To create a comprehensive flow for managers to set different types of goals for their Teams, with the ability to adjust each individual member's goals within it.

The challenge:

It can be a complicated and nuanced flow to develop, and some established CRMs do this well. However, not every aspect of those best practice flows applied to our client's platform and needs, so we took what was useful and created something new. We were requested to somehow add the ability to edit both team and team member targets, as well as easily being able to go back in and eg. edit a goal or add new hire's allocated targets.

The outcome:

An easy to follow yet robust 3-step flow, with the editing of each Goal being accessed by simply re-entering this flow and making changes to save - avoiding the need of starting over. Not pictured here is step 1 where the manager can choose from a long list of goal types, as long as it fell into the category of using percentages, dollar amounts or units as values.
