Here's one of several videos we produced in collaboration with Austin Saylor as part of an opioid overdose awareness and harm reduction campaign we co-developed with HRIA.
The goal of this 'you can' campaign is to educate drug users about overdose signs, the dangers of fentanyl in the drug supply, and how to use Narcan® (naloxone - a medicine used to reverse the effects of opioid overdose), to empower them to not only use more safely, but also to step in and save the life of a loved one in case of an overdose.
The overarching brand idea for this campaign is: You can't stop someone from using, but you can stop them from dying.
This series of videos is very procedural, so we styled the illustrations to feel like an IKEA-esque instructional manual.
We were tasked with naming the campaign, branding, illustration, video direction, photography direction, copywriting, and website design.
