I've joined Weebly!

I’m elated to announce that I’ve joined the team at @Weebly! With technology and the web evolving and improving so rapidly, we’re finally getting to the point where we can empower even the most non-technical users to design and build beautiful websites to share their products and ideas with the world. Now, with Weebly’s recent launch of Carbon, we’re beginning to create tools that will empower designers and developers as well. Considering the game-changing ideas in the pipeline, and the incredibly smart team behind the product, I couldn’t be more excited to create the future of the web alongside this awesome crew.

I know some of you will be curious why I left Collective Ray, the agency I founded back in 2010. The answer is pretty simple. Even though running a business has taught me a ton, added many skills to my tool belt, and has been incredibly rewarding—I realized I was spending so much of my time and energy focused on the business that I was beginning to miss out on time I have to spend with my children, watching them grow, and being around to teach and show them everything I can…and that means more to me than my business ever could anyway. So, it goes without saying we’re stoked to see what 2016 has in store. That being said, Collective Ray will continue on and I encourage you to hire them for projects in the future. It’s been an amazing 5 years, and I’m so proud to have built a sustainable business that will be able to continue in my absence.
